Welcome to the Cincinnati Chapter of HADASSAH!

HADASSAH, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer women's organization, whose members are motivated and inspired to strengthen their partnership with Israel, ensure Jewish continuity, and realize their potential as a dynamic force in American society.

Cincinnati Chapter offers a variety of community service and fundraising projects, as well as fun and educational special interest groups for women of all ages and interests. You can read about all our activities on Events and Calendar pages throughout the year, or download a pdf file of our November-January Chapter Bulletin.

  • Thai Cooking Demonstration on Monday, February 22nd from 7-9 p.m. Join your Hadassah buddies for an amazing cooking experience featuring Jill Abromowitz Gutmann of Kosher Kimchi Catering.  More...

  • Movie Mavens is scheduled for Thursday, February 25th.  As always, the name of the movie, place and time will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

  • Youth Aliyah Tea on Thursday, March 4th from 1 - 3 p.m.  Chen Ezer and Tomer Peretz, two Israeli young adults from our sister city, Netanya, will speak. They are in Cincinnati for this year through the Chaverim M'Israel Program sponsored by CIncinnati Jewish Federation.  It will be an exciting program you won't want to miss!

  • Hadassah Donor Luncheon will take place on April 14, 2010.  Honorees will be Adele Gutterman and her daughter Renee Sandler.  Flutist Ariella Perlman, daughter of famed violinist Itzhak Perlman will perform.  More...

At the Central States Region Fall Conference on October 17-18, 2009, Cincinnati Chapter won two awards: the Vanity Fair Award for Donor Luncheon/Fabulous Furs Fashion Show and the Region Fundraising Award in recognition for Consistency and Passion in Fundraising.

Hadassah Hospital Saves the Life of a Cincinnati Teen
A local teen developed a life-threatening illness while in Israel this summer.  Doctors at Hadassah Hospital diagnosed the cause just in time.
